What can I bring into the exam room?
So the exams start tomorrow... far out. That's a pretty scary thought but at the same time, it's a massive relief that this is finally kicking off and you can actually start to completely wrap up these subjects 👍 .
On that note, we’d hate to disappoint you so we may as well just tell you to lower your expectations right now. This isn’t going to be a blog post with any kind of revolutionary advice, killer study tips or even some decent puns to laugh at. But we promise this is super useful, important information about your first exam tomorrow (even if it’s a little bit basic).
SO. Here is what you can and should bring into the room:
- Black pens
- Spare pens
- Seriously, just bring so many pens
- Ruler
- Highlighter
- Pencil
- Sharpener
- Bottle of water (try not to write your notes on the label, that’s cheating)
- Watch (it’s got to be old-school, no apple watch)
And hey, just for good measure, here is what you can’t bring:
- Mobile phone (if only 🙏)
- Smart watches
- Literally any piece of electronics except for a calculator for some exams
- Paper or any kind of notes (duh.)
- Dictionaries (except in language exams)
- White-out. Just cross out your mistakes, your markers can cope with that
Some subjects are a lil bit special and you can take extra equipment into them so check that list out here.
Remember
Remember to get to your exam at least 15 minutes early, eat a good breakfast and go to the bathroom before you walk into that exam room. If you’re really worried about the pressure of your first exam then check out some coping strategies here and otherwise, best of luck guys. You’ve got this 🤘 .
